Video Production.
We have facilities for shooting either in-studio on a lit 12x6m set with autocue, chroma-key, or on location anywhere in the world. Our crews are fully trained in all aspects of safety and have full CRB clearance. We can shoot in SD, HD, 4K and RED Camera. In post-production we are able to handle all the aforementioned media types and we have two fully tooled Digital video edit suites, powered by Matrox and Blackmagic with editing software by Adobe. We also make use of Camtasia to capture on-screen training material for computer training films.
Voice Overs & Translation.
In our sound proof multi-track recording studios we offer both English and foreign language voice talent of the highest quality. All our readers are broadcasters in their native tongue and nearly all our actors are Equity members. Many of our readers work from studios abroad linked to our facility via internet or Skype. Translations are not only accurate and competitively priced, but can be richly creative for every native tongue once they're sub-edited by the voice talent. Readers in English are often well known to the British TV and radio listener and examples of a few professionals on our books can be supplied on application. Our equipment includes Neumann U87 Mics, 24 channel desk, Quad amps and Tannoy monitoring with multiple outboard FX. We utilise Sound Forge, DDClip and Adobe CS5.5 Production Premium software integration.
Post Production.
For audio sweetening we have a Foley stage and vast music and sound FX libraries in house. We employ professional musicians to create unique musical soundtracks all recorded in our sound studios at Bishop Wilton. From our powerful computer systems we can then author DVD, Blu-Ray and CD-ROM disks. Or, publish direct to the internet in most web video platforms. In post production we make full use of the Adobe Creative Suite. We can also offer 3D graphics work.
Equipment Hire, Edit Suite Rental & Hardware Sales.
Got an event or meeting coming up that you need some equipment? Give us a try - we can source anything you may need at competetive prices. We can also sell the hardware to you with optional service agreements beyond the first year. As a further service - some of our edit suites are available for hire if you need them. Digital Signage
We can provide you with video, graphics and other exciting bits and pieces to use with digital signage - either at your office or premises, or at exhibition space. We can also sell or hire the equipment that you will need for this, from HD media storage players to plasma screens and projectors. We can also update your signage via the web with any interesting pieces of info, or new videos!
Interactive CD/DVD Design & Creation.
Using Adobe Director or Flash we can author interactive CD-ROMs & DVD-ROMs. From customers existing assets of video, pictures, audio and graphic design Adobe Director is the foremost software for manipulating interactive media. Naturally the seamless interweaving of our video editing suite means plenty of creative video sections. Don't worry if you haven't got a huge amount to say - rich media content that we design can be added to at a later date and you can order short runs of CD/DVD copies. You can also add foreign language versions in case you want to send your product overseas! We have extensive experience from working with Yara in producing HD video content that is embedded into multi-lingual interactives that can be replayed on anything from old laptops to newer machines!
Museum Installations.
We can install high tech installations in temporary exhibits, or in permanent fixtures; from simple projector and solid state storage systems to multi screen exhibits utilising wireless touchscreen controllers and multi-machine video streaming. Our multi-lingual audio tour guides by Dataton Pickup are state of the art as well! We have nearly 40 years of experience which began at Jorvik and has progressed apace. Fully controlled son-et-lumière guides for religious buildings are now highly successful at unattended low-volume traffic sites such as Thixendale Church in North Yorkshire. It's well worth a visit!
Exhibition AV Services.
Pollen has been involved with AV management and creation at some impressive exhibitions. With our old friends at SDA, we have provided clients like Nestlé and Komori with multiple large seamless HD plasma walls, 5.1 surround sound, live presenters and video as well as multi-lingual translations. If you have an exhibition or trade show coming up and require some help with your media exhibits then we would love to help out - whether it be a small scale plasma screen and a DVD or Blu Ray player, or something more ambitious.
Media Authoring & Duplication.
If you have discs that need duplicating, or some of the content that you require creating has to be delivered on large quantities of discs we can provide you with all the help you need. From simple disc copying of a few hundred units, to tens of thousands with inlay cards, colour printing and shiny cases, you can count on us to provide at a very low price. Through our Adobe Production Suite, we can also offer to author DVD discs for you to sell or give out to clients. In the past we have authored multi-chaptered DVD's with multi-lingual subtitles and various levels of menus.

Good question! It varies greatly according to what you need, when you need it, and how awesome you want it. We can put together very low prices for one day shoot and editing packages, and then look to add to this content at a later date if you have don't have all your budget available immediately.
