We are one of the longest running creative media studios in the North of England. Initially opened 34 years ago as a sound recording studio and involved in work with artists as diverse as Stiff Little Fingers, Everything but the Girl, Sir Alec Guinness, Sir Harry Secombe, Leonard Rossiter, Dame Judy Dench, John Le Mesurier and UK Subs.
By the early 1990’s we had evolved into a multimedia production studio, providing blue-chip clients such as Carlsberg Tetley, Nestlé, Corus Steel, Portakabin and Lin-Pac Plastics with integrated corporate video and interactive CD-ROM solutions. We have worked with museums around the UK such as The National Coal Mining museum, The National Photography museum and The National Glass museum. We are approved suppliers to Leeds, Bradford, York and Humberside County Council. We provided Humberside County Council with a promotional video for the Humber estuary, and have provided Leeds, Bradford and York with many museum AV solutions. Most recently Nature’s World at Middlesbrough had various touch screen presentations, videos and soundscapes installed.
Pollen Studio is partnered with various production studios in the Leeds and York region. We have experience in producing 3D modelling and incorporating that into various platforms. We have vast experience in exhibiting work, working at the NEC Birmingham, the MesseStadion in Dusseldorf, Fira Gran Via in Barcelona and Paris Expo - Port Versailles. Some of the trade shows we have worked at have well over half a million people in attendance, giving us a taste of high pressure live work.
We have a long reputation in producing quality voice over work in English and foreign languages. Our links with recording studios abroad means that we can help you get an abundance of languages and translations at a competitive price.
Last year we were one of the first independent production houses in the North of England to offer High-Definition video production. Most recently we provided the chemical giant Yara with a High-Definition interactive DVD-ROM, and have provided Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines with High Definition video material. We have worked in most countries in Western Europe and provided all our clients with a high quality product, on time and on budget.
